

LISBON FALLS - John D. "Bobby" Dillingham, 56, a resident of 12 Hilltop Court, Turner passed away peacefully Wednesday surrounded by his loved ones at the home of his companion, Lana Raubeson. He was born in Lewiston, August 8, 1951 the son of John H. and Audrey L. (David) Dillingham. He lived an adventurous life, often on the seat of a Harley enjoying rides and vacations at the Cape. John loved his family and lived for time with his children. He was a dedicated worker with long time service as a construction foreman followed by over 20 years with LL Bean retiring in 2006. He also was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving one tour of duty in Vietnam. John was a private man with a zest for life, always quick with a story of "Back in the Day" times. He chose to ride his rocket with pride and on his own terms. Survivors include his special friend and companion, Lana A. Raubeson of Lisbon Falls; his children, Valarie John Banker of Poland Spring; Sonya Richards of Minneapolis, MN; Brent Dillingham and Raquel Candace Dillingham both of Lisbon Falls and Turner; Brothers and sisters; Sheena Ronfeldt and her husband, Walter of Standish; Cheryl Durgin and her husband, Michael of Auburn; Linda Dillingham Fields of South Portland; Sherry Bourget of Palm Bay, FL; Jonathan Dillingham,and his wife, Mary Jane of Auburn; Sarah Dillingham Waterman and her husband, William of Litchfield; Jayne Dillingham Comeau of Turner; Scott E. Dillingham of Brunswick Jack H. Dillingham and his wife, Davida of Turner; Stewart Dillingham and his wife, Patty of Auburn; Danny Munson of South Portland; one grandson, DJ Banker of Poland Spring; a special niece, Heidi Roy of Cape Elizabeth, and also surviving are many nieces and nephews. DILLINGHAM died in Lisbon Falls, August 8, 2007, Mr. John D. "Bobby" Dillingham age 56 years a resident of Turner. A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held SUNDAY 1:00PM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son With Pastor Russell Peppe presiding.
