

Auburn – Lauretta A Sirois passed away peacefully at 101 years old at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs’ Home of Maine. Lauretta was born in Lewiston on April 3, 1922 the daughter of the late Emile and Malvina (Robitaille) Ouellette. A life-long member of St. Mary’s church and educated at St. Mary’s school.
She enjoyed going to garage sales, camping, spending time at the ocean and going to Florida in the winter. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, doing crafts and playing cards with family members at home and at the nursing home.
She will be lovingly missed by her son Leo, wife Judy of Lewiston; daughter Helene Beauchesne, and her partner Stephen Berry of Hartford, ME and Florida; daughter in law Christine Sirois of Auburn, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lauretta was predeceased by her loving husband Robert; son Rene; two brothers the Reverend Father Roger Ouellette, Paul and his wife Antoinette, three sisters Sister Rita Ouellette MIC of Joliette, Quebec Canada, Laurianne, Rejeanne LeClaire and her husband Lucien LeClaire and their son Normand.

The family invites you to a time of visitation at The Fortin Group Funeral Home, 70 Horton St. Lewiston on Monday July 17th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday July 18th at Holy Family Church, Sabattus St, Lewiston at 11:00am followed by a committal service at St. Peters Cemetery in Lewiston on Switzerland Rd.
