Linda was born on July 7th, 1959, in Norway, Maine, to the late Wheeler and Olive Tripp. Being one of seven siblings, she fondly recalled the lively childhood they shared growing up, filled with adventure and mischief. She graduated from Lewiston High School and went on to build a career in the shoe industry, where she took pride working as a finish specialist. In her role, Linda carefully prepared shoes for final presentation and customer samples. She also worked on shoes for the Olympic Team, ensuring they were properly finished, inspected and ready to be packed.
Linda shared a loving marriage with her husband, Ronald Dulac. In the 49 years they spent together, they enjoyed taking road trips and exploring the scenic backroads and small towns throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Their life together was further blessed with two children, Cathy and Mark, who went on to build families of their own, bringing Linda and Ron the joy of five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was known for her generous heart and love for shopping for others. She took great joy in finding all the best bargains. You could always count on her to answer the phone and say “yup, come pick me up” and join you on any adventure. Her greatest happiness came from her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy. She also cherished spending time with her extended family, embracing them with the same love she showed her own.
Linda also had a personality that filled any room she walked into. She had a way of making everyone around her laugh with her outrageous remarks and contagious laughter. You never quite knew what was going to come out of her mouth next, but it was always guaranteed to leave you speechless. Her humor, honesty and lively spirit will be remembered by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME 04240, US, on March 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
