Lucille M. Levesque

July 24, 1939 – May 2, 2025

Lucille M. Levesque, 85, of Damariscotta, Maine, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 24, 1939, in Baker Brook, New Brunswick, Canada, Lucille brought warmth, humor, and joy to everyone she met.

Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Rachelle Sargent and her husband Kent of Lewiston, Maine, and Collette Pierce and her husband Duane of Jefferson, Maine. She also leaves behind her beloved brothers, Armand Morneault and his wife Jeanette of Lewiston, Maine, and Ulysses Morneault and his wife Geraldine of Sterling, Massachusetts.

She was predeceased by her brothers Martin Morneault and Enoel Morneault.

A proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucille cherished time with her grandchildren: Rene Clavet (and his partner Alison), Teri Dubois (and her husband Eric), Ryan Desjardins (and his partner Deidre), Craig Desjardins, Courtney Pierce, David Pierce, Mark Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Lilli Pierce, and JJ Pierce. Her joy was multiplied by her great-grandchildren: Anjee Clavet, Salina Nichols, Aliana Nichols, Maddilyn Clavet, Bryson, and Abby. She was also blessed with many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Lucille lived a full and vibrant life. She had a deep love for gardening, knitting, clipping and attempting to organize newspaper articles, and she helped raise many children through years of babysitting. Her kitchen was always filled with the delicious aromas of French Canadian cuisine, and she was especially known for her legendary pranks and playful spirit. Lucille never left a place without a memento, collecting memories and souvenirs wherever she went. She delighted in playing cards and board games, sharing laughter and friendly competition with those she loved.

Her legacy of love, humor, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
