

AUBURN – Marcel A. Laliberte 70 a former resident of St. Mary’s Residence passed away peacefully at the Hospice House Saturday May 19th with his loving wife of almost 50 years by his side following a four year battle with cancer.
He was born in Scotstown, PQ., July 22, 1947 son of the late Maurice and Angele (Lamoureaux) Laliberte.
Marcel served in the US Air Force and after returning home worked most of his life as a Bread Baker in this area and in Vermont.
He is survived by his wife the former Bibianne Pratte ; three daughters, Angela Carrow and husband Erv, Alice Cregg and husband, Mannie, Rachel Latham and husband Ken. His brothers Jacques Laliberte and wife Diane, Mike Laliberte and wife Camille, Jean Pierre Laliberte, and David Gallant.
His six grandchildren he loved dearly, Kirsten Leavitt, Catie, Angele, Patrick, and Alex Latham and grandson Connor Shapiro.

Memorial services honoring Marcel’s life will be held 11:00AM WEDNESDAY May 23rd concluding with military honors at the PINETTE DILLINGHAM & LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston.
In lieu of flowers donations in Marcel’s memory may be made to the St. Mary’s Residences C/O Larry Morin 100 Campus Avenue Lewiston, ME 04240.
Burial will be private at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
