Marcel Roger Therriault

LISBON- With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Marcel Roger Therriault, 73, of 52 Cotton Rd, Lisbon, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side, he was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, and Uncle. Marcel's life was a testament to his love, kindness, and dedication to those around him.

Born in Lewiston, April 14, 1952, the son of Raoul F and Jeannette B (Morin) Therriault. He graduated from St. Dominic High School, Class of 1970.

On June 5, 1971, he married Claire (Bechard) Therriault. Together they made their home and raised their family in Lisbon.

As a thriving entrepreneur, he successfully ran Therriault's Building and Maintenance.

Marcel enjoyed beating his brother Ray and nephew Michael at golf and spending time with his family at camp on Taylor Pond.

Marcel will be sadly missed by those who survive him. His beloved wife Claire, Son Marc Therriault and wife, Michelle, of Greene, Daughter Roxanne Therriault, of Lisbon; Daughter Nicole Velazquez, and husband, Carlos, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Sister, Claire Allard and husband, Arthur, of Lewiston; Brother, Raymond Therriault and wife, Claire, of Lewiston; Sister-in-law, Claudette Therriault, of Lewiston; and Grandchildren Gavin Therriault, Mady Therriault, Deric Roberts, Devon Roberts, Toileana Velazquez, Brooklyn Velazquez, Brielle Velazquez, Bella Velazquez, and Great-Granddaughter Eliana Harris; Danny Roberts (who was like a son to him); and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; sister Dorothee Therriault; his brothers, Robert Therriault and Richard Therriault.

His memory will be celebrated through the countless lives he touched and the memories shared with those who knew him.

A Memorial Mass honoring Marcel's life will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Committal Services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 4-7 PM at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, 784-4023.
