Mike, if I only knew where to began, I have know you for a long time and you were such a great husband, father and to me a great friend. We have had some good times together and I will always remember our times on vacations, dude did we make each other laugh, I will always remember you, with that smile you had on your face, I was so pumped to be able to spend the weekend up north with and have a good time, we had talked about going snowmobileing for a while, from the second you walked into camp you filled the air with laughter, I?m honored that I had the privilege of getting to know and having one last drink with you, I wish I could have done more mike but I did make you one last promise that your family will always be ok and I plan to keep that, like I told you I don?t believe in good bye's dude but until we meet again, Soon it will be your day you?ll be up up and away, fly with the angels dude and watch over us you will never be forgotten. The days at White Rock will not be the same with you gone. We will miss your smiling face that greated us every morning, even if we were dragging to get our selfs started you would be right there making us laugh. I met Mike a few yrs ago.This man could always put a smile on your face no matter what mood you were in.When I told Mike that my son Gannon was playing football for LHS he always made it a point to try to go knowing I couldnt be there.Last yr when we had the dinner at the high for the 3 kids who past I asked Mike if he could go,he said no problem and right along with him was Kirk and Jim in a rain storm.Not to long ago I walked into work with tears in my eyes Mike pulled me to the side and just had to know what was going on.I had to tell him my son Robin had joined the Marines and leaves in July,I didnt know what I was going to do.Big Mike told me things were going to be okay just let him know that I loved him and he would come home safe.And who could forget on some of our birthday the outfits BIG DADDY MIKE could come up with to make it even better.WE LOVE YOU BIG DADDY MIKE!!!!White Rock and LHS football games will never be the same...

The news reached me today, Shock is a mild word to use but many thoughts came back to me, working with you was a joy and adventure. i just went to your service mike. through the sadness and the tears i witnessed the most beautiful wife along with the most beautiful daughters deliver probably the most inspirational celebration of a mans life.over the last couple of days we all went to visit you and your family in hopes of offering them some comfort. what i saw and experienced mike was them offering us the comfort. they stood tirelessly greeting the hundreds of friends you have, 1 by 1.each and everyone of us comforted by those who hurt the most, those you treasured the most.i can only hope that maybe one day i can be as good a father as you, as good a husband as you, as good a friend as you, as good a person as you.

Mike were do I begin we go back 20 years. over this last year we were able to plan to get together and throw a few back,and when I talked to you on thursday we planned to meet at fastbreaks to talk about the up comeing draft and that you would be really upset if the Pats did something stupid like let Randy Moss go, well my friend rest easy we have him for 3 more years, Mike you have always been there to just talk and I will miss talking on mondays atfer a game being monday morning quarter backs, the girls and Linda have to know how much you meant to them, I will miss us talking about the families and the future,(you where like a brother from another mother) you always seem to the the answer to no matter what was wrong, when I was having issues at the spring and was not sure if I should walk away after 20 years it was your sound advice to help be realize life is short so find something that will make you happy,I hit the wrong button on my cell this morning and got you on speed dail, felt strange leaving a message, I know you cant return, just know that you wre a graet friend and you will be missed every time I was a sox game or the pats beat up on someone, the strangest thing is that I hardly ever whistle and since this weekend that is all i seem to being doing, and like you i cant carry a note, well mike now that you are up with the angels I am sure you will meet up with my buddy Kevin he went home 4 years ago, like you he was graet people he is a Giants fan but dont hold that againt him, you two have some laugh until I see the both of you again, and Mikey dont worry we made a pack 20 years ago and your family will be looked after they will know to just call me and I will be there, miss you my friend , Bill

Mike, there are no words to say how we feel right now. Rick is still in disbelief and very hert. I still remember when we met, you and Rick were going hunting and you insisted on making me get up to make you two breakfast ( which you never got ). Well, Mike, what can I say? You did so much for me that I don't know if you knew how much you really meant to me. I wanted you to know that I looked up to you as a man and a person and you were like my second father which made me an unbelievably lucky person. The times we spent and shared together were always special no matter the circumstances, which makes writing this extremely difficult. There was so much more to do! Who knew what I was getting into when you and Linda accepted me into your family, but I am grateful that you and Linda did welcome me and give me the support that we all need from a caring family. Every time I look around my house, play a round of golf, tackle a DIY project, or even drink a beer I will think of you because you will not be here to share it with me. Things are not going to be the same...I just hope you knew how much you meant to me and how much I looked up to you and respected you. Saying that you will be missed is an understatement. I didn?t know Mike that well but what I did know of him was that he was someone who could always make you smile. He was a dedicated employee who always went above and beyond to help fellow co-workers out. His smiling face and infectiously cheerful nature made everyone who had the opportunity to be around him a better person. He will be sadly missed at White Rock!!

Mike, you were the friendliest, most helpful man I knew at WRD. Your way of joking made me instantly at ease in any and all situations we encountered. I was the first person to arrive at work the first day of the "ice storm." You were there hiding behind the door to "greet me," calming everyone down before we left work that morning. I will never forget your unique way of entering a room...I would hear you before I saw you,always "whistling." You leave so many of us wishing we could have you back. Michael, Life has been surreal since I got the news of your passing on Saturday morning...I did not want to believe it. Sadness seems the best word to describe how I feel right now. I have worked with you for 7 1/2 years and each year brought more teasing and joking from you - at my expense of course!But, that is who you are and you could get away with it! When ever you entered the office, laughter pursued! You are one of the nicest, kindest, most caring, giving, funny and smart people God ever blessed me with knowing. You have no idea how much you will be missed. Mike,We have worked with each other for a long time from Poland Spring to White Rock. Where ever you worked every one loved you. Your Jokes and teasing always brighten everyones day. When you started at Poland Spring all the girls had a crush on you. You always shared things with me. Just last weekwe talked about your plans to make improvements and how far your goals had come but you told me you needed two more years. You have made you markhere at WRD and we all have benifitedby knowing you. My memories of you are too many to List. I always liked the way you called Linda Mama. I have so many co-workers comming to see me todayto express how much you made a difference in their lives. You took Joe D out to show him how to enjoy life, he has never stopped talking about it to this day.I should have told you that. My boys still remember you because of how you made them feel when helping you. I will miss our venting sessions. You were a good man Mike I hope you knew that.

Dad, I already miss you more than you will ever know. I can't imagine living a single day knowing I can't call you. You were so important to me and supportive of everything in my life. I really didnt get to know Mike veery well, but he is a big loss to White Rock. I remember my first week there. He came up to me and shook my hand and welcomed me to the company. I knew then he had to be a good guy because not many boss' would do that. We will all miss him.

When you called on Friday, in the morning, you asked me if you woke me up and I said no, I was lying but it didn't really matter what time we called each other. You told me you were going sledding and you might not be reached. I guess when I said have fun that I didn't know I wouldn't reach you again. I'm going to miss our nightly talks. You kept me grounded, you kept me on track and you always seemed to have a way to get a smile on my face. I'm going to miss the talks about our families, how sometimes they bugged us, and how much we loved them. How we can joke about work, and keep each other going and I am going to miss the rides we planned on taking this summer, and all the mischief we would get into. I guess in a nut shell, Mike, I never met another guy like you and I don't think I ever will, but I know that, I am better for it, then to have never known you at all. Good riding Mike.To Linda and your family. Mike always spoke of you to me with love and caring. And if I can even aspire to be half the man he was, then I know I'll be a great husband and father too. I worked with Mike @ PS. There wasn't a day that went by that Mike didn't make you smile or laugh. He got me in trouble more than once but I could never get mad at him. I lost contact with Mike after I left PS and fortunately meet him again about 10 years later. Michael hadn't changed one bit. He was as good natured and good hearted an individual as you could ever meet. A great co-worker, a better friend. I will never forget that midnight trip to Times Square, NYC with Mike. We avoided trouble, and with Michael that was a given, and I never laughted so hard in my life thanks to Mike. To Michael's Relatives, Linda and his girls; My deepest heartfelt condolences. I am thankful I was able to know Mike as a friend.

Mike,Our work put us in a position of having to plan our day together insuring we both did what was necessary to get the orders out the door.Every morning you walked into my office like clock work and every morning we discussed your production lines and when I was gonna get what i needed so the trucks could be loaded.after the bsuiness was done we then spent a few minutes talking about the weekend or what we had done the night before, motorcycles,snow mobiles and how we thought the red sox were gonna do.Over the years I learned about your wife and your daughters. What your wife "mama" did for a career, where your daughters went to school,and what they studied. I was always impressed about your conversation when it came to your family, how proud you were of them. I could tell you really loved your son in law "the teacher"and i could tell that golfing with him was something you were the most happy doing.Mike, This monday morning you didn't come to my office. we had no business to discuss and we had no current events to go over. I knew you were not gonna be here but I still listened for your footsteps coming up over the stairs.alot of people miss you mike.Harvey
