

LEWISTON - Nancy L. Marden, 1st born child of Mickey and Catherine (Moses) Marden died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning from complications from Lupus. She was born, June 30, 1950 and graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1972 with a degree in Home Economics. Nancy was an accomplished seamstress, and worked in the family business, Marden's. At Marden's, she was in charge of the fabric and took great pride in her work and the number of yards of fabric she handled. Nancy was a dedicated, loyal, incredibly kind hearted, and thoughtful person. Survivors include her very sad family as well as her companion Rick Taylor of Lewiston ; her mother, Catherine M. Marden of Albion; one sister, Martha Hutchins and her husband, Brent of Albion; three brothers, Ham Marden and his wife Lois of Lewiston; John Marden and his wife, Jane of Belgrade; and David Marden and his wife, Sigrid of Bangor Also surviving are nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. A Memorial Gathering of friends and relatives will be held Thursday, June 19th from 6:00 - 9:00PM only at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home & Cremation Services 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. Burial will be private in the family lot at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Albion.
