Nellie V. Dyer

Auburn- Nellie V. Dyer age 92 of 2714 Hotel Road died Sunday evening at her residence after a long illness with her family at her side. Born in Minot on September 1, 1917 the daughter of Irving and Grace (Bean) Taylor. She was educated in Auburn Schools, she was the widow of the late Walter Albert Dyer who died in 1987. Nellie was a day care provider for many years. She enjoyed reading, being with family and friends and had been very active in the Marston Corner Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by one daughter; Sandra Holt and her husband William Jr. of Poland; one sister Joan Russell and her husband Stephen of Dover, NH, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.Nellie was predeceased by a daughter; Janice Gagne who died in 1995 and also by two brothers; Ralph E. and Richard H. Taylor. Dyer- Died in Auburn Nov. 22, 2009. Nellie V. age 92 of Auburn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Marston Corner Baptist Church, Hotel Road Auburn. Burial to follow Penley Corner Cemetery.
