AUBURN- On Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, Patrick "PJ" John Poulin died at the Hospice House in Auburn, holding his wife's hand as she whispered her love to him and kissed his brow; she'd stopped working to care for him in home hospice until his last days when he was transferred to Auburn, staying by his side from his initial cancer diagnoses in October of this year to his very last breaths on Dec.12th. PJ was also surrounded by his loving Brother Mike, His Mother Patricia and his Aunt and Uncle Micky and Nelson Madore at his time of death.
PJ loved life, loved playing golf with his many childhood friends, and exceeded in the sport. He loved playing cards and visiting the casino--but, most of all, he loved Sherri--his wife of 25 years--and his fur babies, Gracie and Kloie.
For 25+ years, PJ worked building/repairing bridges; the last 15 of those years he was employed by Wyman & Simpson, Inc., of Richmond, Maine. PJ exceeded in helping his co-workers and called them Family.
PJ was born on May 13, 1970, in Lewiston, to Jean Luc L. Poulin, who predeceased him in March of this year, and to Patricia (Cox) Poulin. He is also survived by his two brothers and their families: Michael L. Poulin (Linda), of Lewiston, and Bruce S. Poulin (Judy) of New Hampshire; and many loved relatives, friends and co-workers--too many to list here.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, in Lewiston, 784-4023. To share memories and condolences with the Poulin Family, please visit www.fortinpinettegrouplewiston.com
PJ left his wife with final words to his family and friends which was for them to “LIVE” life now and enjoy every day with someone you Love.
