He was born in Detriot, Michigan March 1, 1934 the son of Carl and Betsy (Harper) Strunk.
He was US Naval veteran of the Korean Conflict and had been employed as an electrical engineer at Kellogg's Cereal in Michigan and had also been employed as a chemical engineer in the auto industry.
His hobbies included playing piano, and going to exercise classes.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Sabattus, one son, Daniel, and three daughters, Kathy Mesorosh, Linda Owen, and Carol Ann all of Michigan. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
