Becky, 57 was born in Marlboro, Massachusetts on January 31st, 1966. Although she was not born in Maine, she has lived and raised her family here since the 80’s and agrees, it is the way life should be! She loved Maine and the people of Maine loved her right back. Becky worked as a store manager at many gas stations throughout her time in Lewiston, Auburn and Sabattus making many friends and relationships along the way. Becky always had a smile and a kind word to those she encountered, wherever she went, and that made us all love her that much more.
Becky and Perry loved each other so hard and stayed together through what most people could not withstand. They loved each other fiercely and always put one another first. I know we all take note of how they worked as a team, together could take on and overcome any obstacle.
Situations in life were thrown at Becky that most people would back down from, instead, hand in hand Becky and Perry raised many children and grandchildren, along with every neighborhood kid who needed a warm, safe place to be.
In the mist of taking care of others, Becky was battling diabetes and survived and beat stage 4 cancer. Becky was a fighter till the end, she fought hard to be here for the people she loved for as long as she could. To tell the true character of a person, is to see them help others without hesitation or stipulation. Becky and her heart of gold, was that person.
Becky was a vivacious woman full of spunk, we all know who really ran the house! A lover of books, some of her favorite authors being J.C Andrews and Debbie McComb. She and Perry had their shows that could not be missed such as CSI and NCIS that they loved but let’s be real there was no way she would miss her General Hospital or Young and the Restless! She loved music, always dancing and cutting a rug, some of her favorites included Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn and Anne Murray. Her favorite color ( as we all know :) ) was purple, if she could have painted the house purple I bet she would have! She loved her unicorns, butterflies and anything that she could find at a yard sale for a steal! As her and Perry would say “if there is an inch on the wall, Becky will fill it!” :)
To say Becky will be missed in an understatement. The void that has been left behind in so many hearts will never be filled. With that said, her family hopes that we can all find a moment of comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and is in heaven looking down on us all, smiling and in full health once more and forever.
Becky created her own and also comes from a large loving family, she is survived by her Husband of 25 years, Perry Mills, her children, Andrew, Shawn, Cory, Krystal and Ebony. Becky and Perry loved all of her grandchildren fiercely, with a total of 12 grandchildren that they both had a hand in raising. She is also survived by her mother, Rita Cormier and 9 siblings.
