

Auburn - Rejeanne T. LeClair 86, of Monmouth and formerly of River St. Lewiston died Wednesday May 2, 2012 at The Hospice House. Born in Lewiston October 8, 1925 a daughter of the late Emile & Malvina Robitaille Ouellette, she was educated in Lewiston schools and Mount Merici Academy. She was married to Lucien LeClair June 14, 1947. He died May 9, 1998. Mrs. LeClair was a former member of St. Joseph's Parish in Gardiner , St. Francis Xavier Parish in Winthrop and the Lewiston Senior Citizens. She and her husband, Lucien, operated LeClair's market in Gardiner for 31 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing cards and games. She was an expert knitter who knitted intricate sweaters that were enjoyed by many family members. She loved cooking and entertaining especially for holiday gatherings and lobster feeds which were part of most birthday celebrations. Ma loved her home ,"camp", where she would sit on the porch reading, knitting and doing crossword puzzles. She waited with great anticipation for the wild flowers and her perennial gardens to bloom throughout the spring and summer. Rejeanne will be remembered for her love of her family, her many kindnesses and her dedication to her faith. She is survived by 2 sons, Roger LeClair and wife Ann-Marie of Monmouth, Raymond LeClair and wife Karen of Greenville, grandchildren, James & wife, Susan LeClair, Julie & husband, Daniel Sisk, Jillian LeClair & fiancee, Dustin Dulac, great-grandchildren, Mary Kate, Caslin & Kevin Sisk, 2 sisters Sister Rita Ouellette MIC of Montreal, Lauretta Siriois of Lewiston ,a sister-in-law, Jacqueline LeClair of Lewiston and also several nieces,nephews and cousins. Special long time friend, Pauline Fournier of Lewiston, She was predeceased by a son Norman LeClair of Greenville, a sister Laurianne Ouellette two brothers Fr. Roger Ouellette & Paul Ouellette The family wishes to thank the staff at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice , most especially her health care providers Cindy and Doreen.
