Rena M. Cote

AUBURN- Rena M. Cote, 75, of Riverside Drive, Auburn Maine, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House on Monday July, 2, 2007 following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Madawaska on May 18, 1932 the daughter of Alphonse and Gertrude (Bouchard) Cyr.She was educated in Lewiston schools. In her earlier years, she worked as a stitcher in local shoe shops before becoming a homemaker with her beloved husband whom she married on November 27, 1948. She was a long time member of St. Louis Parish in New Auburn. She loved spending time outdoors, be it fishing, camping or just tending to her flowers. Her "Green Thumb" was admired by many. Whether you knew her ten minutes or ten years, her personality and humor forever found a place in the hearts of everyone she met. She was blessed with a loving relationship with a special belated uncle Albenie Cyr. Her family truly was her passion. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Fernand Cote of Auburn; two sisters Mona Bolduc of Auburn and Fabula Chartier and her husband Robert of Lewiston; and one brother Roderick Cyr and his wife Cecile of Lewiston. She will be sadly missed by nine adoring nieces and nephews, Marc, Gary, Neal, Ronald, Jean, Diane, Linda, Janice and Bryan. NOTICE Cote- Died in Auburn Monday July 2, 2007. Mrs. Rena M. age 75 a resident of Auburn. A Committal service will be held Tuesday 2PM at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum.
