

Lewiston-Rhea Marie Beliveau, 95, passed away Thursday April 2, 2009 at Montello Manor with her family and loving caretakers by her side. She resided on Webster St. in Lewiston for 53 years. She was born in Manchester, N.H. on January 19, 1914 the daughter of Hermenegilde and Julia (Turcotte) St. Germain.She attended school in Manchester, N.H.. She married Armel Beliveau on May 4, 1935. In the fall of 1936 she came to visit her husband who was helping her father and mother to rebuild the homestead, they decided to stay in Lewiston. Struggling through the depression with her husband, they built a home on Webster St. that she lived in for 53 years. She worked at Pepperell Mill for 23 years, she also volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital after retirement. Her faith in Jesus was her strength. Her family was the center of her life and her heart. She enjoyed family gatherings and hosting relatives and friends. Her pleasant smile and kindness will be missed by her loving family. She has left us many happy memories that we will keep with us until we see her again.She is survived by her sister Esther Kittredge of Fall River, MA, a son Donald Beliveau Sr. and his wife Jeannine, a daughter Lorraine White and her husband Barry, seven grandchildren, Donald Beliveau Jr. and his wife Anne, Debra Fecteau and her husband Rick, David Beliveau, Mike Lemay and his wife Sue, Diane Dennison and her husband Karl, Nancy Lowe and her husband Scott , Mark and his wife Maria and Carol Spencer and her husband Ray, thirteen great-grandchildren, Joshua, Robin, Jessica, Blaine, Jennifer, Misty-Dawn, Matthew, Chris, Danya, Derych, Dale, Nicholas and Lilly Mae, many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Armel Beliveau , four sons, Danny, Roger, Jean-Paul and Roland Beliveau, one daughter Rolande Beliveau, her brothers and sisters, Irene Gosselin, Jeannette Roy, Yvette Donnell, Jeanne D'arc Jean, Armand, Theode and Roland St. Germaine.What a wonderful heavenly reunion and celebration it will be when she is with her savior Jesus and her loved ones who have gone to glory before her.The family would like to express our special thanks to the wonderful and gentle caregivers at Montello Manor, to her special nurse and caregiver from Androscoggin Hospice and for the special attention and care given by Dr. Kurt Oswald.
