

LEWISTON- Richard Joseph Dubois, 80, passed away peacefully at D’Youville Pavilion in the early morning hours on Saturday, February 27, 2021 with his daughter Laurie and granddaughter Kerri by his side.
He was born on August 22, 1940 in St. Agatha, Maine. He was employed at PepsiCo for over 40 years.
He often went above and beyond for his family, neighbors and coworkers.
Richard enjoyed hunting in Sumner, Maine as well as snowmobiling and fishing. He also enjoyed outings at local dance halls on weekends.
He is survived by his sister Salonge Berube and husband Chuck of Auburn, sister Meille of Lisbon, daughter Patricia Dubois of Sabattus, daughter Laurie Collins of Greene and grandkids Joey, Brittany, Kerri and husband Farshid and great granddaughter Julia Collins.
He was predeceased by his Father Levite Dubois, Mother Cecile Guerette and his companion Irene Bingelis.
His family would like to thank the staff on 3E at D’Youville for their care for Richard over the past several years.
Funeral services honoring Richard’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services will then be held later in the spring at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Richard can be made to the residents activities fund at D’Youville Pavilion. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
