

LEWISTON – Richard N. Lapointe, 59 a resident of South Lisbon Road died Thursday, December 1st at his home. He was born in Lewiston, September 19, 1952, the son of Roland and Theresa (Deraps) Lapointe. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was also an avid New England sports fan. He was employed as a roofer for almost 30 years for Hahnel Brothers Roofing in Lewiston.. The pride of his life were his family and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include his mother, Theresa Lapointe of Lewiston; one daughter, Tammy Edwards and husband Jeff of Sabattus; five brothers, Roland Lapointe, Jr., and wife Crystal of Virginia; Larry Lapointe and wife Ann of Lewiston; Maurice Lapointe of Lewiston; Marcel Lapointe of Greene; and Michael Lapointe and wife Joanne of Greene. Two sisters, Tina Gauthier and husband, Bruno of Sabattus; and Danita Laplante and husband, Michael of Minot. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kyle, Dillion, and Cody Edwards as well as many nieces and nephews. Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. Committal to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
