AUBURN - Russell N. McIntosh, 72, of Auburn died Monday, December 25th at Clover Manor with his children by his side.He was born February 5, 1934 the son of Clarence and Madeline (Burgess) McIntosh. Russ married the former Alta Dixon on October 11, 1968.Russ worked many years at Libby Mill where he was union president, and also worked and retired from LL Bean. He was convenour of Klan McIntosh of the New England Highland Association.Russ enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching the New England Patriots. He'll be sadly missed by his children.Survivors include one son, William McIntosh of Auburn, one daughter, Amy(Mc Intosh)Britton, his grandchildren, Alyssa, Briann, Aspen, & Scotty Britton all of Auburn, and also surviving is one long time friend, Paul Jones of Auburn. Besides his parents was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Alta and one brother, Dana.MCINTOSH died in Auburn, December 25, 2006, Mr. Russell N. McIntosh age 72 years a resident of Auburn. A spring graveside service will be held TUESDAY May 15th, in the family lot at Mt. Auburn Cemetery with committal prayers.
