Stanley J. Lukaszewicz, II, age 66, of Athens, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Stanley was born on November 17, 1946 in San Francisco, CA. He was the son of the late Stanley and Neva (Puckett) Lukaszewicz.
He was a driven, self-taught entrepreneur who owned and operated many businesses throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed living a free and unencumbered life. He loved to tell stories and always relished in the opportunity of being able to weave a good tale. He loved horses and in his early years raced horses. He was free spirited and spontaneous and was known to drive hours just to be able to enjoy his favorite grinder and hot dog. He had a good sense of humor.
He is survived by his six children: Sheri, Michelle, Kimberly, Stanley, Shawn and Michael; his grandchildren: Kaylee, Joshua, Alyssa and Victoria; his son-in-laws Jeff and Beau; his sisters, Annette, Carol, and Susan; his Aunt Lucy and Uncle Frank; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Diane.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, Maine. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lewiston.
