

FORT PIERCE, FL: Yvette B. Cote-Lachance, born on June 19, 1919, daughter of Francis Bussier and Eva Laflamme Bussiere of Lewiston Maine died peacefully at St. Lucie Hospice House in Fort Pierce, FL on Sunday May 1, 2016. She worked many years at the shoe factory in Auburn Maine before moving to Bristol CT where she worked many years at Fafnir Bearings before retiring. She will always be remembered for her love of flowers and nature as well as spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Yvette is survived by a sister, Irene Lachance and her husband Lionel of Lewiston, her 3 children, Jackie Cote of Southington, CT, Donald Cote and his wife Carol of Williamsburg, Virginia and Daniel Cote and his wife Rose of Colchester CT, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind, from a previous marriage, 7 children; Jeanne Costabile, Remi Lachance, Roland Lachance, Paul Lachance, Grace Bottone, Claire McCoy and Marc Lachance as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Adrien Cote in 1980, her second husband Gregoire Lachance, her daughter, Pauline Keene, a son, David Lachance, all of her sisters and brothers and her great grandchild, Andrew Cote. She will be missed by many. She truly was a saint. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was so giving and never asked for anything in return. We know you are not suffering and are with the angels now where you are at peace. We would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors at the St. Lucie Hospice House for taking such good care her and our family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn on Monday May 9, 2016 at 11am followed by committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. Those wishing, in lieu of flowers, may make a charitable contribution in Yvette’s memory to: St. Lucie Hospice House at 5090 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce FL 34981.
