She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ayoub (Nabil Ayoub) of Atlanta, GA; sons, Michael Opel (Rena Rounds Opel) of Acworth, GA and Mark Opel (Christina Hogan Opel) of Athens, GA; stepdaughter, Katelyn Rounds; grandchildren, Samantha Ayoub, Tatum and Luke Opel, Joon and Ozzie Opel; brother, David Jackson and sister, Mary Seiler.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Opel and brother, Edward Jackson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Lexington Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, James Opel.
