Alexander Russell Morris

CHAPIN – A graveside service for Alexander Russell Morris, infant son of Joe Brandon Morris and Danielle Patrice Sheppard will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Pisgah Lutheran Church Cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dan Bacon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Alexander was born October 26, 2011 and passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Alexander passed away due to an unknown genetic disorder. He was a fighter and fought his illness until the end.

Alexander is survived by his mother of Lexington and father of Gaston; maternal grandmother, Rayshell Sease Sheppard of Chapin; maternal grandfather, Fredrick Sheppard, Sr. of Pennsylvania; paternal grandmother, Donna H. Franke of Columbia; paternal step grandfather, Klaus P. Franke of Pelion; paternal grandfather, Joe R. Morris of Gaston, paternal step grandmother, Robin Morris of Gaston; maternal step grandfather, Vincent Holladay of Chapin; half sister, Sierra Rotan of Lexington; half brother, Quentin Rotan of Lexington; step brother, Joshua Morris of Gaston and numerous aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his great-great-grandmother, Beulah Sease.
