Andrew "Andy" Lewis Krinzman

Andy attended Columbia University in New York City and graduated with an engineering degree in 1981. He married Linda Hatch on July 13, 1991 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and they had two children, Danielle Maynard and Evan Krinzman. The family spent many years in East Lyme, Connecticut before relocating to Forest, Virginia in 2006.

Andy had a successful career as an engineer and worked in nuclear power before retiring in 2018. After retiring, Andy and Lin moved to South Carolina to join both of their children and looked forward to spending quality time with their two grandsons.

He was skilled with woodworking and consistently had projects that he would tinker with. In his free time he enjoyed bike riding, spending time with his family, and going out on the lake. Andy has thoroughly enjoyed boating on Lake Murray since moving to Lexington. In his younger years, he was an avid snow and water skier. He also had obtained his pilot’s license.

Andy is survived by his wife, Lin; his daughter and her husband, Danielle and Matthew Maynard; his son, Evan Krinzman; his beloved grandchildren, Beau and Shepard Maynard; and his older brother and his wife, Gordon and Linda Krinzman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service for family will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11 AM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. Following the family service, a drop-in visitation with the family will be held at 12:30 PM at the Clubhouse in the Saluda River Club (109 Shoalwood Drive, Lexington, SC 29072).
