Arthur David Dunlap

WEST COLUMBIA - Arthur David Dunlap, 65, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 with his family by

his side in West Columbia, SC.

Dave was born October 9, 1946 in Newark, Ohio to Harry and Mary

Dunlap. He graduated from Heath High School in 1964 where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He then graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business.

He worked for Xerox Corporation as a Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Corporate Manager and Region Manager for thirty years. During his tenure at Xerox, Dave received many awards, among them including top sales rep in the nation and top sales manager in the nation.

He has since worked for Edward Jones Investments for the past ten years as a financial advisor where he

found his true passion for working with people. Dave has served on

numerous boards and been associated with various organizations

throughout the Midlands area including Brookland-Cayce High School, Chamber of Commerce, Workshop Theater, Big Brothers & Sisters, United Way, Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church and Midlands EconomicDevelopment. He loved to golf and play bridge.

He was a loving husband, father

and grandfather and a great friend to all of those who knew him. He

was known for his wonderful sense of humor, positive attitude and zest

for life. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his four children,

Trevor, Weston and wife, Mary, Morgan and husband, William, and Kelsi and two grandchildren, Emma and Ben.

The visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012 at

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Lexington, SC. The funeral will be

held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church with burial following at Woodridge Memorial Park.

The family wishes to thank the Oncology Staff at the Medical
