Benjamin L Team Jr.

LEXINGTON – Benjamin Leslie Team, Jr., 85, husband of Helen Cassady Team. Funeral services for Mr. Team will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church with interment to follow at Woodridge Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mr. Team was born on February 14, 1927, in Asheville, NC. and passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at his home. He was the son of the late Benjamin Leslie Team Sr., and Katherine Jones Team. Mr. Team attended North Georgia College and University of South Carolina in Engineering. He is a US Navy Veteran. Mr. Team retired from AT&T (aka Lucent) in Atlanta, GA where he was an Operation Manager.

He was a genealogist and co-authored two books on the Team family history.

Mr. Team is survived by his six children; Benjamin Leslie Team, III (Paula Royal) of Snellville, GA, John Stephen Team (Jean Ann Wurtz) of Charlotte, NC, Grayson (John Russell) Team Sarvis, Karl Alexander (Dorothy Strickland) Team of Leesville, Helen Team Sons of Lexington, Andrea (Thom) Team Harrison of Charleston; grandchildren, Ben Team IV, Scott (Kelly) Team, Stacy (Robert) Team Scott, Alex Team, Ryan Team, Grayson Michelle (Brian) Keisler, Karl Team, Jr., Adam Team, Ross Sons, Virginia Harrison, Andrew Harrison, and Patrick Harrison; great-grandchildren, McKayla and Devyn Team. Mr. Team was predeceased by son-in-law David Sons.
