

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Beulah “Granny” Meetze Sease, 98, widow of Bennie Sease, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Pisgah Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Golden Hearts. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pisgah Lutheran Church, 1350 Pisgah Church Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
Granny Sease was born September 12, 1913 in Irmo, SC and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Ruben Meetze and Fannie Sons Meetze. Granny was a member of Pisgah Lutheran Church where she served on many committees. She was a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Golden Hearts. She was a former Sunday School teacher and taught Vacation Bible School for many years. Mrs. Sease was known by family, friends and love ones as “Granny” and will always hold a special place in their hearts.
Granny is survived by her son, Daniel “Dan” Boyd Sease of Lexington; sisters, Mattie M. Wingard and Lizzie M. Wingard both of Lexington and Kathleen Murphy of Grafton, WV; grandchildren, Dianne (Mike) Bush, William (Gwen) Sease, Cathy Spires all of Lexington, Janis Robotham of Leesville and Rayshell Sheppard of Chapin; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sisters, Fannie Belle Rauch, Mary Lou Bundrick and Annie Mae Swygert; brothers, Seber, Junnie, James, Noah and Daniel Meetze and grandson, Kyle Sease.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tidewater Hospice and Granny’s Church Family for all their prayers, visits, love and support.
