Charles "Chuck" Connor Williams, 44, passed away on April 18, 2026. He was born in Baltimore on September 25, 1981, and later moved to Lexington in 1994, where he graduated from Lexington High School in 1999.
Charles was a master electrician and served as a project manager with DNB Electric in Lexington. Over 20 years with DNB, he built a reputation for steady leadership and diligent workmanship—approaching each day with devotion to doing the job well, a clear sense of responsibility, and an honest pride in his craft. Those who worked alongside him knew they could count on his loyalty, his thoughtful guidance, and the quiet wisdom he offered through both word and example.
Beyond his work, Charles was an avid outdoorsman who found joy and peace in time spent fishing and grilling. He cared deeply for his animals and held close the people he loved—his family and his work family alike. In all of these places, he was known for a kind heart and a compassionate spirit, offering help without hesitation and showing up for others with selfless consistency. Even in serious moments, his humor could bring lightness, and his courage and steady faith carried him through life with strength and purpose.
Charles is survived by his mother, Emily Williams (Partner Danny Ainsworth); his fiancée, Amber Brotherton; his son, Connor Williams; his sister, Carrie Zier (Jason); his niece, Madison Zier; his nephews, Logan and Brendan Zier; and his aunt and uncles, Mary and Ron Holton, and Connie and Albert Williams; his pets, Lucy, Sophie and Luna; and his 5 chickens.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Williams; his grandparents, Julia and Connor Raynor, and Charles and Shirley Williams.
The family would like to establish a living memorial garden at his new home and asks that, in lieu of flowers, friends and family may donate outdoor plants or contribute by means of gift cards or financial donations for that purpose.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr. Lexington, SC 29072. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service in the funeral home.
