It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of David W. Hammond. He passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022 at the age of 58. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina to Evelyn and the late Wesley Hammond.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Wendy Hammond of 38 years; daughter, McKenzie Hammond; grandchildren, Bryson, Brielle and Isaiah; sister, Terry Moore; nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and caring friends.
He was a true example of a family man and everything he did was for them. His sharp wit, dry sense of humor, warm heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family looks forward to seeing him again through the Bible based promise of the resurrection, Isaiah 26:19.
