David Eric Jones

David worked in Asphalt construction for 25+ years. Starting as a laborer, David worked his way up to heavy equipment operator. David was well known for being able to operate any equipment he was put in front of. David loved to go fishing, hunting and to go riding. He loved to ride everything from jet skis, dirt bikes and his motorcycle. David was a hardworking, easy to laugh and always willing to lend a hand type of guy! He loved his family and friends, and was great with kids of all ages, as he was a big kid himself, in all the best ways!

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Brenda L. Williams ‘Nanny’ & Otis F. Jones and Richard Thomas Roach ‘Annpa’ & Barbara Ann Jones Roach. David is survived by his mother, Susan Anderson; father, Terry L. Jones; stepmother, Debra J. Jones; sons, Chase Jones and Derrick Jones; sister, Ashley N. Jones; nephews, Raylyn M. Jones and Brandon Jones; niece, Jenny Scoggins; step siblings, Cindy Dockery; Brandy Howe; Sandra Hamilton and Micheal Hamilton; fiancé, Heidi Ward. David was also stepfather to Kassandra N. Ward and Nolan R. Ward, as well as a mentor and role model to Justice Harris and Logan Wilson.

The family will hold a private service for David at a later date.
