Debra M. Hutchinson, 71, was born on November 21, 1950 in Columbia, SC and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was the loving daughter of the late Thelma Mitchell and Noble Guy Mitchell, Jr.
Mrs. Hutchinson was an active member of Lake Murray Baptist Church and a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. She was also a homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother and doting Nana to her six grandchildren. She was the epitome of love and grace and battled fiercely to stay alive and thriving for her family until the Lord called her home.
She is survived by her husband, William V. Hutchinson; sister, Melanie Jackson Bloom (William); sons, Chris (Rhonda) and Marc (Jill) Hutchinson; daughter, Laura Hutchinson; grandson, Cayman Hutchinson; granddaughters, Cheyenne Hutchinson, Bailey Martin, Faith Hutchinson, Cianna Hutchinson and Annabelle Martin; numerous nephews and nieces and wonderful friends.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Hutchinson and sister, Linda Martin.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service.
