LEXINGTON – Edith Mae Brown, 83, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was born in Kennet, Missouri to Martin and Lela Seagraves. Edith was the widow of Herbert Brown, Jr. She was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church where she was a member of 39 and Holding Club, Newcomers of Columbia and Lexington Bridge Club.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Lana (Wayne) Henson of Simpsonville, SC and Cindy Jalajas of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Kelly Kreger, Jason Henson, Jenny Davis; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Leota Lee and brother, L. D. Seagraves.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
