Mrs. Creed was a retired bookkeeper and worked for Holland Ave Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church. She was a master gardener and a member of the Lexington County Master Gardener Volunteers. She loved flowers, traveling and going antiquing with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Michael P. Creed; her sister, Linda Sightler (Tom) Humphries; in-laws, Pete (Judy) Dehr of Michigan, Jacky Keys of New York, and Mary (Ken) Norton of Spartanburg, SC; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Freddie M. Sightler; her mother, Lois Driggers Sightler; and her late husband, Wendell Spires.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, located at 503 N. Lake Drive, Lexington, SC. The burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC.
