Gail Rickenbaker Oliver

Gail Rickenbaker Oliver, 82, of Lexington, SC, passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on October 24, 1941, in Orangeburg, SC, to the late Cecil Rickenbaker and Evelyn Rogers. Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Don Oliver.

Gail is survived by her fiance, Dave Cox; her son, Donnie Oliver and his wife Kristen; as well as her grandchildren, Dizz, Van, and Lila. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria Caulder (Hayward); her nephew, Ricky Carter (Karen); and her niece, Dodie Carter.

Gail was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where she found solace and peace. She cherished her time spent there and valued her faith.

In her free time, Gail enjoyed being a part of the Shag club, where she could dance and socialize with friends who shared her love for music and dancing.

A graveside service will be held in memory of Gail at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 27th, 2023 at Woodridge Memorial Park, located at 138 Corley Mill Road in Lexington, SC, followed by a visitation at the Oliver's home. The ceremony will be officiated by the caring staff of Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, located in Lexington, SC.

Gail Oliver will be dearly missed by her loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
