Jacob Dakota Smith, Jr. passed away on March 08, 2026 in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. Jacob Jr. was born on January 15, 2026 to Haley Chaney and Jacob Smith, joining siblings Nova and Everleigh Smith. Despite his short time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him.
Jacob Jr. will be forever remembered and loved by his Grandparents, Jessica and Justin Smith, Sarah and James Drake, Christopher and Brandi Chaney; his Great Grandparents, Vera and Brad Weed and Katherine and Troy Moss Alice Shealy and Randy Chaney, Marty Shealy Dale and Donna Jo Smith; His Aunt and Uncles, Joseph Crapps Jr, Lindsey Thivierge, Travis Chaney (Chyanne), Christopher Henson, Samual Smith (Autumn) Jasmine Smith (Johnathon) and 6 cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Steven Smith aka Randy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
