COLUMBIA – A memorial service for James W. Nance, 51, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The service will be conducted by Dignity Celebrant Bob Shields. Memorials may be made to Pets, Inc. 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170.
James was born October 15, 1963 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014. He was a son of Charles Nance and the late Mary Todd Nance. James worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed fishing and was a big fan of NASCAR. James had a big heart and loved his family dearly, including his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Surviving are his father, Charles Nance of Lexington; brother, Daniel Nance of Charlotte; sister, Angela Garrison of Lexington; nieces, Alyssa and Taylor Garrison of Lexington and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and step mother, Patricia Nance.
