Joel was a true free-spirit and loved music except for country music. He played the guitar and drums and enjoyed games such as horseshoes and ping-pong. Joel loved the river, lake and beach and just being outdoors. His hobbies also included art; drawing and coloring, riding dirt bikes and being with his friends.
Joel lived by his own rules and didn't take life too seriously. He was truly loved by all that met him. He was a stubborn man but loved hard and was a friend to everyone in return. He had a talent for solving problems for others. He was a listener and advisor.
Joel always wanted to be a rockstar but stayed busy as a handy-man and a “fixer” of anything, instead. He was always ready for a good time!
Joel is survived by daughter Miranda Hull (John); sons, Colby and Canyon Clark; adopted daughter, Brandee Boone; grandchildren, Savannah, Paisleigh, Corbyn and Gauge; brother, Eric Clark and his sister, Amber Bairefoot (Billy).
Joel was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Caitlin Clark.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC 29072. A visitation will follow.
