Lesley Jerome Brown

Lesley Jerome Brown, 41, of Gaston, South Carolina passed away on January 28, 2025. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on December 3, 1983 to Anita Reid and Lesley Brown. His kindness, determination, and sense of humor touched the lives of many and will be missed immensely.

Jerome was a huge sports fan. He loved the Carolina Gamecocks and Colorado Buffaloes. Any chance he got he was on YouTube watching replays. He loved supporting his cousins and showing up to their football games. Jerome had a huge heart and loved his people big. His I love yous you could always count on. Jerome dedicated the last three years of his life to caring for his grandmother Denie. She was one of Jerome’s biggest supporters along with his Aunt Theresa. Jerome was their baby. They were two of his favorite girls. His happy place was with his daughter Naomi Grace. Any chance he got to be with her he did. She brought the best out in him. He was the absolute best daddy to her, he was her best friend. They enjoyed bike riding, walking trails, and he loved getting her to try new things. Jerome had tons of family who adored him and who will miss him tremendously.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Nichole Brown; Children, Deisyl Brown and Naomi Brown (Remington); Parents, Anita Reid and Lesley Brown; Siblings, Crystal Reid, Sadie Brown, Brandon Brown; Best Grandmother, Denie Brown; Favorite Aunt, Theresa Brown. His fur babies, Daisy and Deeohgee.

He was predeceased by grandparents, Denver Brown, Bobby Reid, and Juanita Reid.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
