PELION – A memorial service for Linden Darrell Williams, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with a visitation to follow until 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Darrell was born on September 26, 1940 in Fairmont, WV and passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014. He was the son of the late William Bill Williams and Edith Janette Merrifield Bunner. Darrell enjoyed wood working, fishing, camping and was a true outdoorsman. He was an avid and devoted West Virginia Mountaineers fan as well as a dedicated family man who loved his children and grandchildren.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Patricia Williams of Pelion, SC; daughters, Barbara Ann Boord (Mark) of Kathleen, GA and Brenda Sue Beatty (Robert) of Morgantown, WV; son, John Michael Williams of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Brandi Nicole Richardson, Megan and Zachary Williams and Joshua and Hannah Neely; brother, Howard W. Bunner (Shayla) and sister, Mary Kathryn Martin.
