Luther Adam Kibler, Jr., age 85, passed away on March 23, 2026. He was born on August 13, 1940 and was the son of the late Mannie Derrick and Luther Adam Kibler, Sr. Luther was a lifelong resident of Ballentine.
Luther retired from the United States Postal Service (USPS). He was a Shriner and took children to the Shriner’s Hospital in Greenville.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Andrea Ambrose; his granddaughter, Katie (Kreg) Crawford; and his nephews, Rhett Sanders and Todd Sanders.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bernadine Kibler; his sister, Gertrude Sanders; and his special friend, Barbara Kleinrock.
Luther was a gentle, loving man who will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Bethel Lutheran Church in the Backmon Chapel located at 2081 Dutch Fork Rd, White Rock, SC 29177.
