

CAYCE - A graveside service for Marshall Thomas Bogan, 91, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Newberry Memorial Gardens. Pastor Joseph James will conduct the service. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cayce United Methodist Church, 1600 12th Street, Cayce SC 29033 or to the charity of one’s choice.
Mr. Bogan, born in Greenville, SC, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015. He was the son of the late Perrin Britt and Zennie Swanger Bogan. He was a veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army and retired from The United States Postal Service. He was also a member of Cayce United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching football, golf, fishing, hunting, and reading.
Mr. Bogan is survived by his daughter Linda Rucker (Greg) of Vero Beach, Fl; son, Marshall Steven Bogan (Robin Gantt) of Cayce, SC; granddaughter, Camille Leaman of West Palm Beach, FL and brother, Kenneth Bogan of Greenville, SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Stockman Bogan; 7 brothers and 1 sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Generations of Irmo for the care and support they provided.
