LEXINGTON – Funeral service for Mary E. Bailey, 82, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Lexington United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bailey passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Baliey was born on September 29, 1930 to the late Floyd Otto Bratcher and Bernice O’Neil Bratcher. She retired from the Lexington Branch of the Lexington County Library.
Surviving are her daughter, Julie Bickley (Kenny) of Chapin; son, Perry Bailey (Susie) of Lexington; grandchildren, Erin Dinger of Spartanburg; Emily Bailey of Charleston; Jessie Bickley and Hunter Bickley of Chapin; great-grandchildren, Wynne and Lachlen Dinger. Predeceased are husband, Joel O. Bailey and sister, Juanita Register. Memorials may be made to Friends of Lexington County Library, 5440 Augusta Rd.
