Mary E. Dutton Talaski, age 80, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Wayne Talaski and devoted mother to Christine (Vinnie) Pellegrini. She was also a loving stepmother to Wayne Jr. Talaski, Kristen (Ryan) Stroup, and Steven (Kate) Talaski.
She was a cherished grandmother to Emma, Abby, Kelsey, Steven, Jes, Klarabelle, Kenzie, Bryce, and Reed, and a great-grandmother to Gracyn and Dominic.
She was the dear sister of Charlie (Kay) Dutton, the late Margaret Ruebe, the late Kathryn (the late Corky) Chorak, the late Dorothy (Rocky) Graziano, the late Alice (the late Chuck) Iffland, and the late John (Valerie) Dutton. She was loved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mary grew up on the southside of Chicago. Her greatest joys in life were her family, cats (Jackie and Pepper), giraffes, and Diet Pepsi. She enjoyed spending weekends at the lake in Wisconsin or beach in South Carolina. Her kindness, spunk, and love touched all who knew her.
Family and friends will gather at St. Bernard Church, 13030 W 143rd St. Homer Glen, IL 60491 on Monday, June 8, 2026, for visitation from 9:30-10:30 am and Mass from 10:30-11:30 am.
