Her parents had longed and prayed for her for many years before Mercy came into their lives. She was loved every second of her existence and will continue to be cherished every second of theirs. Because Mercy was taken so soon, her personality, what adventures she would have undertaken, and what achievements she would have attained will remain unknown. However, her favorite food may have been peanut butter, as that was her mother’s pregnancy craving.
Mercy is survived by her parents, Lance “Brad” and Suzanna Linton; her paternal aunt and uncle, Larry “Buck” and Kimberly Linton; maternal uncle, Adam Jackson; and numerous cousins.
Mercy was predeceased by her paternal step-grandfather, Carl N. Hyatt; paternal grandparents, Larry F. Linton and Linda B. Hyatt; and maternal grandparents, Stanley and Sandra Jackson.
A private service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chapin, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
