Misty Marie Ketcham

Misty Marie Ketcham, age 38, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. She was born at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. She grew up in Dempseytown, PA, until she moved to Batesburg, SC with her husband, Jared in 2020. They have been married since 2017.

She graduated from Oil City Senior High School. She attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, her entire life, currently in Lexington, SC. Her parents, Carolyn and Richard Ward still reside at the family home in Dempseytown, PA.

She has 4 brothers: Tracy (Kelli) Ward of Dempseytown, PA, Daniel Ward of Mertzon, TX, Courtney (Moly) of Dallas, Oregon, and Isaac (Christina) Ward of Rouseville, PA. She had several nieces and nephews: Alexander, Aurora and Jacob (Daniel); Angelica, Isabella, Megan and predeceased, Elizabeth (Courtney); Jaymee, Lyndsey, Olivia, Noah, predeceased Gabriel (Isaac).

She dearly loved and doted on all her niece and nephews. She loved all animals, but especially her dogs, cats, pigs, chickens and goats. She loved all things dinosaurs. She loved the Fast & Furious movies. Her favorite color was green, many different shades. She was dearly loved and adored by Jared and will be truly missed by all who loved her.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2224 Augusta Hwy, Lexington, SC 29072.
