LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Mollie Sue Harrison, 69, of Lexington, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Harrison was born January 2, 1947 in Columbia, SC and passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was the daughter of Riley Green Hammond and Virginia Ola Wiggins Hammond. She worked in the medical field and was a Nephrology Nurse Specialist. She started the Master’s City American Nephrology Nurse’s Association (ANNA) Chapter and was their first President. Her proudest accomplishment was coordinator of the South East Regional Chapter of ANNA. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Don Wayne Harrison; daughter, Rebecca (Kevin) Harrison Yungandreas of Fort Mitchell, AL; son, Curtis Everett (Laurin) Harrison of Leesburg, GA. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
