COLUMBIA – Services for Nancy Wingard Paige, 80, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Columbia. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September, 18, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School, 3700 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205 or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3512 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205.
Nancy was born September 23, 1934 in Lexington County and passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Wingard and Grace Hendrix Wingard. Nancy was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a school teacher at Airport and Brookland Cayce High Schools. She was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha and a member of St. Joseph Women’s Guild and active in Knights of Columbus Women’s Guild. Nancy was a loving wife and mother.
Surviving are her husband, Norman Paige of Columbia; son, Michael B. Paige of Columbia; sister-in-law, Jackie H. Wingard of Lexington and nephew, Brian Wingard of Lexington.
