Nathan was a member of St. David Lutheran Church and served on the church council. He also taught Sunday School and was involved in various church committees. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball, girls’ softball, and county basketball & football. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Sease Dooley; sons, Barry N. Dooley and Marvin S. Dooley (Melissa B. Dooley); grandsons, Byron Dooley (Olivia Manley) and Justin Dooley; and granddaughter, Krystal Massey.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Sherri D. Massey, and brother, Jason W. Dooley.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at St. David Lutheran Church, 132 St. Davids Church Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place after the services in the church cemetery.
