Mr. Nathaniel Lloyd Pinto, 48, of Lexington, South Carolina was born on June 27, 1973 to Winston Pinto and Shelia Lee Pinto in Kingston, St. Andrew, Jamaica. Nathaniel is the first of four children. Nathaniel attended Vauxhall High School and then attended Dunoon Technical to become an automotive mechanic. Nathaniel was a driver for JUTC and Fire Brigade before migrating to the United States in 2010. Nathaniel continued his passion driving in the US with his last job being with Waste Management here in South Carolina.
Mr. Nathaniel Pinto has been with his wife, Avadean Witter-Pinto since 1998. When Nathaniel first met Avadean she was not keen to the relationship but being the person he is, he was persistent that she was the one for him. Avadean eventually succumbed to his charms and was whisked away by his jovial personality. Nathaniel and Avadean lived in Mount Vernon, New York before relocating to Lexington, SC in 2018. They have always been known to be inseparable, shared the love of Christ together, and encouraged each other through life’s challenges. Nathaniel was Avadean’s supporter, provider, protector and comedian; heavy on the comedian as he saw to it to make her laugh daily even when she did not want to.
In 2014, Nathaniel needed a kidney transplant and his sister, Stephanie Pinto, was selfless coming to his aid by donating one of her kidneys to her beloved brother. Since this selfless act, both brother and sister referred to each other as twins. They talked daily on the phone and was a shoulder to lean on for each other. Their bond had only increased with each passing day.
Mr. Nathaniel Pinto leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Avadean Witter-Pinto; his father, Winston Pinto; his mother, Sheila Lee Pinto; sister, Stephanie Pinto; brother, Troy Pinto; father-in-law, Merman Witter; mother-in-law, Jennifer Cole; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly, especially that infectious smile.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
