Columbia – A memorial service for Nina W. Saelzer, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 403 Park Road, Lexington, SC, with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
Mrs. Saelzer was born August 2, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was a daughter of the late William T. Armstrong and Nina Dixon Armstrong.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathleen Romero (Arturo) of Lexington and Linda Weiss (Donald) of Warwick, NY; sister, Barbara Shook of Kennebunkport, ME, brothers-in-law, William E. Saelzer of Columbia and John J. McCarthy of NJ; grandchildren, Alyssa, Amy, Donald, Leigha, Lindsey and William; and great-grandchildren, Amberlyn, Lucas, and Mia; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Francis Charles Saelzer; her son, Timothy Saelzer; her sister, Sandra McCarthy; her brother, Samuel Armstrong; and her brothers-in-law, Henry Saelzer and Robert Shook.
