Patricia Pearl Grosjean, 77, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away from pancreatic cancer at her home on Sunday morning June 25, 2023. Born on April 22, 1946 in Corry, PA she was the daughter of the late Warren and Dorothy Stewart.
Pat graduated from high school in Michigan and married her high school sweetheart. Pat worked as a secretary, mostly in real estate, moving with her family to Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, and then South Carolina in 1978. She was known for being a loving and devoted friend. Pat had friends from grade school that she regularly corresponded with and visited in person when she could. She was curious and ready for adventure- always ready to try new things. She loved birds, plants and flowers. She liked reading detective novels, watching movies and listening to music. She enjoyed Sunday School lessons that made her think and research her bible. Pat was always ready to talk about you and your day and didn’t like to bring anyone down by talking about her troubles.
Pat is survived by her son, Todd Grosjean (Dawn) of Chapin, SC; daughter, Robyn McFarland (Derek) of Columbia, SC; grandson, Corley Grosjean of Chapin, SC; brother, Rick Stewart (Kay) of Pittsfield, PA; sister, Sally Sutton (Steve) of Pittsfield, PA; sister, Nan Dunham (Mark) of Jamestown, NY; brother in law, Marty Printz of Lexington, SC; brother in law, Gregg Grosjean of Chesterfield, MI and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Dale E. Grosjean (2015); and sister-in-law, Bobbi Ann Printz (2022).
The family would like to give special thanks to Sandra Freeman and Denise Jackson for the loving way they helped care for her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Oakwood Baptist Church in Lexington. Immediately after this service there will be visitation with the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Oakwood Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
